10-Day Turkey Adventure Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul
Upon your arrival in Istanbul, you will be warmly welcomed at the airport with a name tag. A private van will transfer you to your hotel for check-in. You will spend your first night in the vibrant city of Istanbul, resting up for your adventure.

Day 2: Istanbul City Tour
The next morning, your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby at 9 AM. Your day begins with a visit to Topkapi Palace, the magnificent residence of the Ottoman Sultans, where you can admire the stunning architecture and view the Ottoman treasury and Sacred Relics. Continuing your journey, you'll explore the Hippodrome, a historical site that hosted chariot races and significant events. Next, you’ll visit the Hagia Sophia, a masterpiece that represents both Christian and Islamic heritage, originally built in 537 AD. Your tour will also include the iconic Blue Mosque, adorned with exquisite Turkish tile art, before wrapping up with a visit to the Grand Bazaar, one of the largest trading centers in the world, boasting over 4,000 shops. After a full day of exploration, you will return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Istanbul. 

Day 3: Gallipoli Tour
On your third day, you will depart Istanbul for Gallipoli, taking in the picturesque landscapes of Thrace along the way. Arriving in Eceabat, you will enjoy lunch by the Dardanelles before visiting important World War I memorials, including Anzac Cove, Johnston Jolly with its original tunnels and trenches, The Nek Cemetery, and Chunuk Bair, the New Zealand Memorial. You will also visit the Lone Pine Cemetery, which honors the Australian soldiers, and Brighton Beach. As you cross the strait, you might catch a glimpse of the replica of the Trojan Horse from the movie "Troy." You will spend the night in Canakkale.

Day 4: Troy and Pergamon
The following day starts with a visit to the ancient city of Troy, a UNESCO World Heritage site that dates back to 1184 BC. After exploring Troy, you will travel to Pergamon, where you will discover significant historical sites, including the temples of Athena and Zeus, the Great Hellenistic Theatre, and the ancient health center known as Asclepion. Following a day filled with history, you will drive to Kusadasi for your overnight stay. 

Day 5: Ephesus and Sirince Village
Your fifth day will take you to the remarkable Greco-Roman city of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world. After exploring Ephesus, you will visit the House of the Virgin Mary, a significant pilgrimage site for Christians, believed to be where Mary spent her final years. After lunch, you’ll marvel at the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, before heading to the charming Greek village of Sirince, famous for its authentic houses and local wines. You will spend the night in Kusadasi.

Day 6: Pamukkale and Hierapolis
On day six, you will drive to Pamukkale, a UNESCO World Heritage site celebrated for its stunning white travertine terraces. After arriving and enjoying lunch, you will visit the ancient city of Hierapolis, where you can explore the Temple of Apollo, the Theatre, Necropolis, and the thermal baths that once attracted Cleopatra and Mark Antony. You’ll spend the night in Pamukkale. 

Day 7: Transfer to Cappadocia
After checking out, you will be transferred to Izmir Airport for your flight to Kayseri. Upon arrival, a transfer will take you to your unique cave hotel in Cappadocia. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, soaking in the unique ambiance of your surroundings, with an overnight stay in Goreme.

Day 8: Discover Cappadocia
Your day begins at 8:30 AM, when your guide will meet you for a comprehensive tour of Cappadocia. Start with breathtaking views at Goreme Panorama Point, then venture to Derinkuyu Underground City, the deepest in the region. You will explore this fascinating underground city, which reaches 60 meters below the surface. A highlight of the day will be a hike through the stunning Ihlara Gorge, where you will encounter ancient Byzantine rock-cut churches adorned with frescoes. After a delightful riverside lunch in Belisirma village, you will visit Selime Monastery, the largest in Cappadocia, before returning to your hotel around 5:30 PM. 

Day 9: Cappadocia Highlights
On your ninth day, be ready for another full day of exploration. After breakfast, your guide will take you to various highlights, including the Goreme Open Air Museum and Esentepe viewpoint. You'll also explore Uchisar Castle, Love Valley, and visit a pottery workshop in Avanos, where traditional techniques are showcased. Enjoy lunch in Çavuşin Village and then visit Pasabagi (Monks’ Valley), Devrent (Camel Rock), and take in the sights of Meskendir Valley (Rose Valley) on your way back to your hotel for the night.

Day 10: Departure from Istanbul
On your final day, you will check out from your hotel and be transferred to Kayseri Airport for your flight back to Istanbul. Once in Istanbul, you will have some free time for shopping or last-minute sightseeing before your farewell transfer to the airport. This journey concludes with cherished memories of your incredible adventure through Turkey.
